Day 5: My Pets :)

Hey everyone! I hope everyone had a great weekend! Is it just me or has this weekend just flown by???!? My weekend was a pretty relaxing one, just stayed home and hung out with the family and my furbabies.. which is what this next post is about!

Todays blog challenge is to talk about your pets. I have to wonderful boys-Scout and Toby.

This is my first baby, Scout. This is a picture of the very first day that we brought him home. Before we got Scout we hadn't had any dogs in a while- my mom didn't want to get attached again-so, I left it alone for a while. I would get on kicks every now and then and finally one day I was talking to Michael ( my BF ) and he decided that he was going to get me a Yorkie, and I found Scout, we went and saw him, and the rest is history. We got scout May 2008, right before I was graduating highschool, so he is about 2 1/2 years old now.  Below is a more recent picture of my little Scouty Wouty :)

And, I can't forget my other baby. About a year later my mom was looking on the local shelter website and spotted a puppy on their, told my step-dad to go look, then she went to go look and she could NOT leave him there. That is the day that we welcomed little Toby :) Below is a picture of the day that we brought him home. He was about a month or two old when we got him, they could only estimate because he was abandoned.

                                           Both of the boys together!

These two pups are the best! It is such a joy to come home to them and they love their daddy so much! It doesnt matter if he is gone a couple hours or a couple days, they are still just as excited when he is here! I just love them :)
I do have some picture from Halloween of them, but I don't think I have them uploaded yet, maybe I'll remember on another post!

xoxo, Jennifer

  1. Aww, they are sooo adorable. I want a cute little puppy so bad but I'm not sure what breed to get.

  2. Lilly- Thank you! It is definately hard to choose a breed- just try to pick one that fits best with your lifestyle etc. Goodluck finding one, when your ready. Tons of work-but well worth it! :)

  3. awwww they're so adorable!!! We just recently got a 2nd dog and it was so hard at first but it's slowly getting better and better!

  4. thank you :)
